Hi, I’m Heather — the one behind Heather Knott Design.
I help businesses show up in a way that actually reflects who they are. Whether you’re just getting started or your current branding isn’t quite cutting it anymore, I create logos and branding that feel aligned, intentional, and built to stand out — not blend in.
And it doesn’t stop there. I also design all the pieces that bring your brand to life day-to-day — things like packaging, signage, brochures, and social media graphics — so everything feels cohesive, polished, and easy to use as your business grows.
I’ve been a graphic designer for 19 years, and for the past 3 years I’ve been running my own freelance business full-time. I’ve worked both in-house and in studio settings, which means I’ve learned how to balance creativity with strategy — not just making things look good, but making sure they actually work.
I work with all kinds of businesses, but I especially love working with small businesses — the ones who are building something from the ground up or ready to take things to the next level. Whether you need a full brand identity or just help pulling your marketing together, I’m here for it.
I’m a coffee-fueled creative who’s more on the quiet side, I let my designs do most of the talking. When I’m not at my desk, I’m usually camping, hiking, or kayaking with my husband, two boys, and dog Moose — preferably somewhere in Northern Ontario.
